The National Museum of Egyptian Civilization (NMEC) in Cairo – in Arabic المتحف القومي للحضارة المصرية – is a new city museum dedicated to the entire history of Egypt, not just the Pharaonic era.

History and Description
The National Museum of Egyptian Civilization (NMEC) is located in Fustat, in the area known as Old Cairo.
It was officially inaugurated in 2021.
It covers all periods of Egyptian civilization, from prehistoric times to the modern era.
The exhibition is organized thematically and chronologically, covering not only the Pharaonic period but also the Greco-Roman, Coptic, Islamic, and contemporary eras.
Its main attraction is undoubtedly the Royal Mummies Hall, where 22 mummies of pharaohs and queens have been displayed since 2021, transferred from the Egyptian Museum (or Museum of Egyptian Antiquities) during a celebrated parade.

Here is a short video published on the museum’s official YouTube channel, featuring the so-called “Royal Parade” of April 3, 2021:
